A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to Keith Downie’s update from Steve Bruce’s press conference in which he confirmed that both Miguel Almiron and Jonjo Shelvey would be back from injury to face Crystal Palace.
Last week against Burnley, the Toon were without the duo, and it severely affected their performance as Newcastle offered little attacking threat at Turf Moor.
Who is more important for Newcastle?
Shelvey
Almiron
The news from Bruce’s conference has gone down well with many Toon fans on Twitter.

What do we think?
Shelvey is Newcastle’s top goalscorer this season with five, and they definitely missed the 27-year-old’s presence last week.
Isaac Hayden and Sean Longstaff offered no creativity or goal threat, and Bruce will be delighted to have Shelvey back.
Almiron has still not scored for Newcastle.
Still, he is a critical part of their game plan, and even though he has received criticism from many pundits for his lack of end product, Bruce has continued to stick with the 25-year-old and is confident in his ability.
Newcastle will want to keep up their excellent home form, and this match with the Eagles will be tricky, but the return of both Shelvey and Almiron should make Newcastle feel more confident.
