The future of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been called into question on multiple occasions in recent months.
First, there was talk of a break clause in his contract which the 48-year-old denied and now he’s being linked with a move to Paris to take over from Thomas Tuchel by Le 10 Sport (reported via the Daily Mail).

What do we think?
Pep Guardiola has already conquered the Premier League, La Liga and the Bundesliga but despite domestic dominance, he hasn’t tasted Champions League glory since the 2010/11 season with his legendary Barcelona side. The Spaniard has taken Manchester City to unimaginable heights but that’s the one trophy that has evaded him at the Etihad. You suspect he will be desperate to tick that off his list prior to moving onto a new challenge.
Although Guardiola is being linked with a move to the French Capital, the overall quality of the league may not appeal to the City boss, whilst he could potentially receive some interesting offers from elsewhere if he were to make himself available.
The speculation surrounding his and some of his players’ futures won’t go away but with transfer silly season almost in full swing, it’s not expected to slow down. The supporters may be getting irritated by the constant inaccurate reports but you can rest assured Pep Guardiola and his team are fully focused on their pursuit of Champions League glory and closing the gap on Liverpool.
