The Manchester City players have decided to skip their Christmas party in order to focus on getting their Premier League campaign back on track.
The Telegraph report that the playing staff sat out the party in order to avoid any complications in their preparation for the Arsenal fixture this weekend.
Last season, Pep Guardiola was furious with his team after they stayed out until the early hours just a couple of days before their shock home defeat to Crystal Palace and that will have no doubt influenced their approach this time around.

As an introvert myself, we don’t need Christmas parties, we need good relationships as a team which we have

What do we think?
The decision has been met with approval from the club’s supporters, particularly after what happened last season. The title may already be beyond Guardiola’s side but they must at least be seen to be trying to put that right.
With upcoming fixtures versus the Gunners, Leicester City, Wolves and Sheffield United to come, the champions will need to bring their A-game into the festive period.
