According to El Desmarque, Real Madrid midfielder Isco would prefer a move to Manchester City over a potential transfer to Chelsea.
It’s understood that both clubs have been offered the opportunity to sign the Spaniard in order for Los Blanco’s to clear the way for a move for Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen but that the 27-year-old has snubbed the opportunity to join up with Frank Lampard’s side.
This is not the first time that Isco has been linked with a move to the Etihad and given the frequency with which these rumours appear to surface, these supporters aren’t convinced the story is true.
Would you welcome Isco to Manchester?
Yes
No
This must be at least the 10th transfer window he’s been linked with us

What do we think?
It’s true that the Spain international has been linked with a move to the Etihad regularly since falling out of favour at the Bernabeu but nothing has ever even come close to materialising. With David Silva set to leave City this summer, you can expect to see Pep Guardiola’s side linked with a number of top-quality midfield players.
Zinedine Zidane is said to want to keep hold of the £45m-rated midfielder (as per TransferMarkt); making a deal unlikely but it’s a rumour that won’t go away. Guardiola is likely to turn to Phil Foden as a replacement for the outgoing Silva, therefore, a big-money deal for an out-of-form and, perhaps, out-of-sorts midfielder doesn’t feel likely.
