It was a weekend to forget for Manchester City, defeat at the hands of their fierce rivals Manchester United meant Liverpool were able to open up a 14 point lead between the two sides possibly ending the Cityzen’s chance of retaining their Premier League crown.
Pep Guardiola’s side take on Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Wednesday night and it’s safe to say these supporters aren’t in the best of spirits ahead of this fixture.

What do we think?
It’s difficult to pinpoint a sole cause for Manchester City’s inconsistent form this season. Injuries have played a huge part, particularly defensively, but there appear to be deeper problems at the Etihad.
The title may be beyond the current champions now, but given the talent they possess, they still stand a strong chance of going all the way in the Champions League.
Despite all their recent success, they’ve been unable to win the coveted trophy so far and so if they were to go all the way their Premier League woes would soon be forgotten. It’s not all doom and gloom in the blue half of Manchester.
