French outlet Le Parisien (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Manchester City are one of a number of clubs ‘regularly sounding out’ the entourages of both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
The two Paris Saint-Germain stars are forever being linked with a move away from the club but according to this report, City would face competition in signing either of the pair from the likes of Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool.
However, when put to the Manchester City faithful, not all of them would be pleased by the potential signing of the Brazilian superstar Neymar.
Don’t want Neymar one bit but Mbappe would be huge

Not Neymar

You can have Neymar, all man city wants is Mbappe. I’d be willing to part with Sterling and Sane just to get Mbappe.

Would you welcome Neymar to Manchester City?
Yes
No
Although there are others more open to the idea of Neymar coming to the Etihad.
Imagine Sterling, Sane and Neymar playing for City. What burst of speed that would be, with DeBruyne or Foden coming through the middle, we’d be unstoppable.

What do we think?
Neymar is undoubtedly one of world football’s biggest talents but it’s his perceived arrogance that makes him far less popular than his PSG team-mate Kylian Mbappe. Formerly of Barcelona, the Brazilian made the move to Paris in a world record-breaking transfer believed to be worth £200m.
The 27-year-old has scored 57 goals and registered 30 assists in 67 appearances for the Parisian’s but is said to be frustrated at the standard of Ligue 1. Taking into consideration his talent alone, the £162m-rated ace would be an asset to any football team but his superstar status and ego have often landed him in hot water and therefore his impact in the dressing room must be considered carefully before any big-money move.
