Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with a move for Leroy Sane in the past few days but it appears they also have their sights set on another City player. Christian Falk of Sport Bild has reported via Twitter that the Bundesliga giants are set to launch a bid for Joao Cancelo.
The right-back, who is valued at £45m by TransferMarkt, has failed to make the desired impact since moving from Juventus to the Etihad but the Germans clearly feel he can add something to their squad as they look to close the gap on Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig.
Should Man City cut their losses and move Cancelo on?
Yes
No
City Chief picked up on the story and relayed the news to their follows, however, what have the fans made of yet another report linking Bayern to one of their players?
No they aren’t it’s just Falk talking nonsense

What do we think?
Cancelo has failed to establish himself as a Manchester City regular and so if the club were able to recuperate the majority of the £58.5m they paid for him you would have to say it would be good business. Kyle Walker has shown no signs of giving up his spot at right-back meaning the Portuguese international is likely to continue warming the bench.
The former Juventus player will no doubt be keen to play football more regularly and if the two clubs can strike a deal between them, it’s difficult to see the 25-year-old turning the chance to join one of Europe’s biggest clubs down.
