Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has come in for further criticism following his performance in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday.
According to WhoScored.com, the Brazilian’s performance was rated at 7.2/10 making him one of the teams better performers but these supporters saw things differently.
Should Gabriel Jesus be leading the line for City in Aguero's absence?

What do we think?
Sergio Aguero’s boots would be extremely difficult to fill for any striker. The club’s all-time greatest goalscorer will be sidelined for a ‘few weeks’ having picked up a thigh injury in the victory over Chelsea last weekend increasing the pressure on Jesus to deliver. The Brazilian has managed three Premier League goals so far this season, which came in the matches against West Ham, Everton and Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old, who is valued at £63 million (Transfermarkt), is likely to get a run of games in the side as a result of Guardiola losing his star striker and in the eyes of many, this period will be make or break as far as Jesus’ City career goes. Next up for the Blues is a trip to Burnley on Tuesday evening, which is a difficult place to go, and the City faithful will be hoping for an immediate response to keep their dreams of a third consecutive title alive.
