A Kevin De Bruyne brace along with a goal from Raheem Sterling secured a comfortable victory for Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday inflicting further misery on Freddie Ljungberg’s Arsenal.
The pair combined to devastating effect but the supporters were unhappy with this tweet from the club’s official account with some calling for it to be deleted immediately.
Were you embarrassed by the club's tweet?

What do we think?
Wheeling away with your arms out is a celebration commonly used by footballers after scoring a goal and one straight out of the beginners guide to goal scoring – if such a thing existed. City’s social media team attempted to be witty and although the tweet stirred up a reaction, it clearly wasn’t the reaction for which they had hoped.
One fan claimed the tweet had ruined their night which seems a little extreme but the general consensus was that the supporters found it embarrassing and viewed it as something for which they would be mocked by rival supporters.
Neither Kevin De Bruyne or Raheem Sterling are particularly known for their flamboyant celebrations – perhaps some variation would prevent these types of bad jokes and give the team something of substance to tweet about. However, it feels like the reaction from these supporters has been somewhat over-dramatic.
