Leroy Sane has been out of action since the Community Shield victory over Liverpool back in August with a cruciate ligament injury.

The former Schalke man is highly-rated right across the continent, particularly in his home country and his situation is reportedly being monitored by German giants Bayern Munich.

Sane, who is valued at £90m by TransferMarkt now, is expected to return to training in February and ahead of his return, these supporters have been expressing just how much they miss him via social media platform Twitter.

What do we think?

At just 23-years-old, it would be safe to say that Leroy Sane’s best days are still ahead of him. His explosive style adds another dimension to any attack and in the eyes of many supporters when fit he warrants a place in the starting eleven.

Signed from Schalke for an initial £37m plus add-ons, Sane spent a significant amount of time on the bench last season much to the frustration of the fan base and the player himself – fuelling speculation he was set to leave the club in August.

The injury he suffered may have put any potential suitors off but if he’s not given sufficient game time upon his return, City will no doubt receive contact from some of Europe’s heavy hitters.
