Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus scored a brace for Pep Guardiola’s side during their emphatic victory at Burnley on Tuesday evening.

The Brazilian opened the scoring after 24 minutes and doubled City’s lead shortly after the break setting his side well on the way to collecting three points.

These fans were extremely pleased by what they saw from the 22-year-old and even compared him to the legendary Ronaldo.

What do we think?

Jesus’ performance has not only provided the supporters with a timely reminder of just how good he is but it will come as a much-needed confidence boost for the player himself. His first goal, in particular, was exquisite, as his shot seemed as though it was flying wide of the far post but such was the bend on the effort that it beat Pope in the Burnley goal.

The former Palmeiras striker, who is valued at £63m by TransferMarkt, has now scored five goals in the Premier League this season despite only making the starting line up 40% of the time.

With upcoming fixtures versus Manchester United, Arsenal and Leicester City the club’s faithful will be hopeful Jesus can continue his fine form into what will no doubt be a season-defining period.
