These Liverpool fans react to footage of Roberto Firmino scoring his second goal against Leicester City on Boxing Day.
When playing against Leicester City on Thursday, Firmino managed to add two more goals to his Premier League tally. Both of his strikes were assisted by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who managed to get a goal himself in the 4-0 thrashing of Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Firmino’s goal, with many of them gushing over what the Brazilian was able to do:
Ruthless. Relentless. Reds.
Bobby Firmino’s second goal against @LCFC was our 500th scored under Jurgen Klopp in all comps! pic.twitter.com/JfTmhRcc2d

I love this club. The owners , the manager, the team, the backroom staff, the cleaners, the tea ladies, the canteen people, the fans and everyone else connected with the best club in the world.

Beating the team in second, away, 4-0, and the biggest criticism anyone can find is that the forwards could’ve scored even more. I think that’s what you call flawless.

And for all those Bobby haters out there. He is just master class

That was ridiculous!

Who's been the better player this season?
Roberto Firmino
Mohamed Salah
Sadio Mane
The Brazilian has scored six goals and also has four assists in the Premier League so far this season, a decent return from the 18 outings he’s had in the league. One fan noted that others had suggested the South American had been struggling but appeared to hit back by stating that he was ‘class’.
Who said Bobby was struggling. The guy is class. Arguably man of the match!

The dejection on the #LCFC players as that goal went in says it all……

What Do We Think?
Firmino hasn’t been the most prolific player this season, however, despite struggling a little bit, he’s still managed to score six Premier League goals. The UEFA Champions League has not been a very fruitful competition for the 28-year-old, with the Brazilian failing to score in all six of his outings in the contest.
Firmino will, perhaps, need to continue to operate at his current level for the remaining Premier League fixtures, but he’ll need to improve his European form, as failing to score in such a dominant Liverpool side is not good enough.
