These Liverpool fans have enjoyed mocking Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea after his costly mistake against Watford.
De Gea finished the 2-0 loss against Watford with a WhoScored rating of 5.1/10, making him the lowest rated player in the whole match. Obviously the debate over who the best keeper in the world remains tough, with Alisson Becker definitely in the running also.

When comparing the average WhoScored ratings between the Spanish keeper and Alisson, it’s the Liverpool man who narrowly takes it, with an average rating of 6.55/10 in the Premier League, beating the United keeper who has a rating of 6.42/10 on average but that doesn’t appear to have stopped the Anfield faithful from mocking the £54m-rated shot-stopper (per TransferMarkt).

What Do We Think?
All goalkeepers will eventually make a costly mistake, it kind of comes with the territory when you’re a keeper. However, these Liverpool fans were clearly not going to miss the opportunity to rub salt in the wounds of the Manchester United fans, with David de Gea seemingly giving these Reds fans an early Christmas present.
