These Liverpool fans loved seeing Peter Krawietz and Pepijn Lijnders signing new contract extensions with the club.
The pair have now signed extensions keeping them at the club until 2024, the same length of time that Jurgen Klopp has received. Klopp was very passionate when speaking about the staff: “It was so important to me that my staff also agreed these new deals with the club. Without them being prepared to make the same commitment, quite frankly I would not have been able to do this.”

It’s amazing to see how passionate Klopp was when talking about the pair, almost making it sound like he wouldn’t have signed an extension without them. It even appears as though Liverpool fans were as delighted to see them commit their future to the Anfield outfit as they, perhaps, would have been when Klopp signed his recent extension.

What Do We Think?
Clearly Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz must do so much more than any of us will see and for Jurgen Klopp to rate them so highly they must be something really special. It’ll be interesting to see if either of them go into a head coaching role after their time at Liverpool, although the Anfield faithful will want to see them remain in the dugout alongside their German chief for as long as possible.
