Leicester City suffered their second consecutive defeat at the hands of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Boxing day.
The Foxes were well beaten by the side many will believe have the Premier League title wrapped up before long providing Brendan Rodgers’ side with a reality check. Roberto Firmino’s brace and goals from James Milner and Trent Alexander-Arnold saw the league leaders run out with a 4-0 victory.
How have the club’s supporters reacted to what will no doubt have been a confidence-damaging defeat?
Can the Foxes still challenge for second spot?

A MATCH TO FORGET COME ON FOXES

I’ll always love my foxes, but last night was truly awful. I’m hoping they’ll be angry enough in themselves to spank West Ham. They looked scared last night and foxes are supposed to be fearless…

What do we think?
Whilst Brendan Rodgers will be disappointed with the fact his side haven’t managed to pick up any points versus Manchester City or Liverpool in their last two fixtures, he won’t be pressing the panic button yet. The Foxes lofty league position far exceeds any of the targets they would have set at the start of the season and Champions League qualification should be the aim.
During this extremely hectic Christmas period, there is no time to dwell on a couple of defeats as they travel down to London for their game at West Ham United on Saturday evening looking to get back to winning ways versus a side who are struggling down in 17th place.
