The Leicester City faithful are buzzing following the announcement Brendan Rodgers has signed a new long-term contract with the club which will see him remain at the King Power Stadium until 2025.
The news comes ahead of a tricky fixture at Villa Park where the Foxes will face Dean Smith’s Aston Villa fresh off the back of their narrow defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Despite having yet another crucial Premier League game on the horizon today is a day for celebration and these Foxes fans are “elated” by the news.
Can the Foxes make it 8 successive league wins at Villa Park this weekend?
Yes
No
Elated and hopefully it will stop every media outlet asking him about moving to Arsenal ?????

There you go, doubters. I never expected anything different. He’s the manager of the second best team in the league.

What do we think?
Contrary to what both parties have had to say in the media, you could be forgiven for thinking Rodgers’ recent comments regarding a ‘release clause’ have prompted the club into offering him an improved deal sooner rather than later.
Given what he’s achieved so far with the Foxes, supporters of the club all over the world will be pleased by the news but after a brief celebration, the focus must return to maintaining their lofty league position and possibly even closing the gap on Liverpool.
