Everton supporters have aired that they want to see Antony Evans given first-team minutes by Marco Silva.
On Monday night, the 21-year-old midfielder bagged a stunning free kick for the club’s Under-23s, which was shared to Twitter by the Toffee’s official account (as per Everton).
With some fans impressed by the quality of the goal, they aired what a quality finish they thought it was by the attack-minded middleman, perhaps even better than what first-team players are capable of.

Brilliant goal . Now give us the latest quote from Seamus . Let’s hear what drivel he is spouting after this long line of this season’s defeats . Or maybe a VoC from the board . Anything ?

Yet, despite being wowed by the footage of the spectacular free kick, some supporters were unable to loosen their grip on the relentless demand for Marco Silva to be relieved of his duties.

What do we think?
While the Merseyside derby is not the perfect moment to begin blooding youngsters, the progression of youth is important.
Should Silva remain at the helm of the Toffees and begin to relieve pressure from himself, perhaps Evans is an example of the young talent he should begin to give opportunities to.
