Supporters of Everton have aired their love for a slip up from David Moyes in his first press conference as manager of West Ham United.
During his introduction to the press after being appointed as the Hammers’ boss again, the Scotsman accidentally called his new club “Everton” at one point (via Everton News Feed), which fans loved.

Is David Moyes calling West Ham "Everton" in his first press conference a big deal? No, just a small slip upYes, once a blue... |
The Scottish 56-year-old was at the helm of the Hammers for 31 games before not having his contract renewed following the 2017/18 season in which he guided the London club to avoid the Premier League drop zone (per BBC).
Following a failed spell for Manuel Pelligrini at the London Stadium, Moyes was reappointed as manager on Sunday (via West Ham) and his first interview was cause for much amusement among Everton fans.

Despite the stupid things he said after leaving Everton he was great for us. Saved us from relegation and qualified up for Champions League. He did all of that without much money. Best of luck to him and I hope he is treated well on his return to Goodison.

What do we think?
Mixing up the name of your new club for one of your old ones is quite the embarrassing slip up from the Scot and that seems to have got Everton fans back on side with their former gaffer.
