Everton: Supporters fume as club announce Ferguson for Arsenal game

|

Supporters of Everton have fumed with the latest managerial statement from the club ahead of Saturday’s game with Arsenal.

On Thursday evening, the Merseyside club released another statement which confirmed who would be in charge of the upcoming clash, that being Duncan Ferguson (as per Everton).

However, while supporters were pleased that the Scotsman will be in charge for the tie, they were annoyed that it required confirming every week.

Will the Burnley game be the last where the manager needs confirming for the foreseeable future?

No, this is going to drag on

Yes, Carlo will be here soon

Following the game with the Gunners, though, it is expected that Carlo Ancelotti will be at the helm of the Goodison Park club for the clash with Burnley on Boxing Day (as per The Times).

Therefore, while some were frustrated that it had to be announced that Ferguson would still be in charge, others were annoyed that it was not the 60-year-od Italian being appointed.

What do we think?

It certainly has been a long run that the Toffees have had to confirm who would be in charge for the next game, but fingers crossed that it will only be the Burnley game that needs confirming now.
