Mate, playing like that is all we ask. 2 wks ago I was saying that none of you looked like you cared. So pleased to see home grown players get a chance. Hope new manager continues that belief & Dunc has a senior coaching role that sees him on the touchline alla Arteta at City.

Does it soften the blow of defeats if players openly apologise to disappointed fans?Yes, it helpsNo, it's pointless |
So far this term, the 21-year-old Englishman has an average rating of 6.55/10 across 13 league and cup games in which he has two goals and no assists (as per Whoscored).
While his form has not been near the best of his career, Everton supporters still respected his honest words and the guts of his performance, along with a goal, against Brendan Rodgers’ side.

What do we think?
It was always going to be a tall order for Duncan Ferguson’s side against the in-form Foxes, but they still delivered a second-half display worthy of the praise heading in their direction.
