Everton supporters have aired their delight over a club post detailing that Duncan Ferguson wore Howard Kendall’s watch during the victory over Chelsea.
On Monday morning, the club posted a tweet with a quote from the caretaker boss where he explained that he had worn the watch of former Everton gaffer, Kendall (as per Everton).
With Toffees supporters loving the story of the Scotsman wearing the watch of a legendary manager of the club, they let their feelings gush in the comments.

The former Everton manager, who passed away in 2015, managed the Toffees on three separate occasions, having also spent time at Goodison Park at the end of his playing career (via Transfermarkt).
His most notable spell with the Merseyside club came between 1984-87, a period which saw the Toffees twice lift the Division 1 title and the FA Cup once (per Transfermarkt).
With the post to Everton’s Twitter account also explaining that the watch was given to Ferguson by Howard’s widow, Lily, fans could not help but air their thoughts on the story.
