Supporters of Everton have aired their desperation to see Romelu Lukaku move back to Goodison Park following an Instagram post from the striker.
On Tuesday, the Belgian frontman posted to Instagram in which he discussed the decade which is coming to a close and paid homage to his time with the Toffees, which left fans desperate for his return (via Everton News Feed).

While in Merseyside, the now Inter Milan striker bagged a whopping 87 goals and 29 assists in 166 games (as per Transfermarkt), before his departure to Manchester United in 2017 (per BBC).
With the good times seemingly on their way back to Goodison Park, supporters were desperate for Lukaku to be part of the action and wished for his return to the Toffees.

What do we think?
With his impressive record of 14 goals and three assists for his current club this term (per Transfermarkt), it is likely that the Italians would not want to let go of the Belgian.
Unfortunately for the Goodison Park faithful, this one will just have to remain a pipe dream for the time being.
