Everton supporters have expressed that they would not mind the club re-signing Marouane Fellaini in the January transfer window.
Talk of a re-signing for the Belgian arose amongst supporters due to the link between David Moyes and the vacant hot seat at Goodison Park (via BBC).
While the speculation began as a tongue in cheek remark, some supporters believed that the 32-year-old middleman would be a step up from the club’s current crop of midfielders.

Over his duration with the Toffees, the Belgian made 177 appearances in Everton blue, in which he bagged 33 goals and 26 assists (via Transfermarkt).
Ahead of the potential return to Goodison Park for Moyes, a few supporters hinted at a few members of the old band getting a nod to return for the Toffees alongside the 32-year-old.

While a return of the Belgian for the Toffees will likely remain in the imagination of supporters, they may not be far wrong that he could offer more than the current crop of middlemen at the club.
