Has Lucas Digne's recent form warranted some of the criticism that has been thrown at him?No, he's not been that poorYes, not been good enough |
So far this term, the 26-year-old left-back has featured in 21 games for the Toffees, in which he has scored once and assisted four (per Transfermarkt).
As well as a steady return for a defender, Digne also has a sturdy average rating for Everton of 7.09/10 (per Whoscored), but supporters were still frustrated with the star man.
You were woeful today, start putting some passion into your corners

Need to work on your delivery Lucas, your corners are not missing the first man. Spend an hour or two with Bainsey.

What do we think?
For the game against the Gunners, Digne, who is valued at £31.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), picked up a sturdy 7/10 rating for his performance (per Liverpool Echo), meaning some of the criticism may be unwarranted, however, it sounds as though his delivery is the main cause for concern.
