Fans of Everton have reacted to a Twitter post from Richarlison following the sacking of Marco Silva by the Merseyside club.
On Thursday evening, the Brazilian attacker posted a tweet thanking the Portuguese manager in his native language, referring to the former Toffees’ gaffer as a ‘teacher’ to him (via Richarlison).
With many having wanted Silva gone (as per Liverpool Echo), but understanding it may be a difficult time for one of their star players, fans supported the 22-year-old’s sentiments.

Well in Richy. One of the very few who can hold their head up over the last few months. Keep up the passion and hard work.

Is Richarlison Everton's best player at the moment?Yes, by far the bestNo, he's not quite |
The Brazilian attacker and Silva worked together at both Watford and Everton, with the former Portuguese gaffer sanctioning the signing of the 22-year-old on both occasions (via BBC).
Whilst with the Toffees, Richarlison has bagged 21 goals and four assists in 56 appearances across his season-and-a-half in Merseyside (via Transfermarkt).
With the Toffees’ supporters infatuated over their star performers in what has, so far, been a dire season, they were keen to keep the Brazilian on their side.
Please never leave x

Always sad to see someone who had an impact on your life leave. But we learn and move forward.
Heads high, focus and let’s get through the season on a high.

What do we think?
Understandably for Richarlison, it may be difficult to see the manager that he has been working with for a number of years leave the club, hopefully for Toffees fans, however, he will continue in strong form without him.
