Everton supporters have reacted to a post that was shared to Twitter by Turkish striker, Cenk Tosun.
The 28-year-old posted on the social media site on Tuesday night with what appeared to be a rallying cry for supporters to stick together, stating: ‘United we stand, divided we fall’ (as per Cenk Tosun).
With some supporters agreeing with the sentiment, they supported the post and got behind the Turkish frontman ahead of the derby clash with Liverpool.

Are rallying cries from players overall positive or negative?Positive, shows they careNegative, it's unnecessary |
However, some fans have grown increasingly frustrated with all associated with the club due to a, seemingly whole-heartedly, desire to see Marco Silva relieved of his duties at Goodison Park (per Liverpool Echo).
As such, some were less than supportive for the Turkish international’s rallying cry and called for his talking to be done on the pitch as opposed to social media.
Forget words….actions needed please

What do we think?
It is certainly a tall order that Everton is looking at in tonight’s Merseyside derby, with the divide in quality between the two clubs as big as it has ever been in recent years (via BBC).
However, should the blue half of Merseyside stand together and somehow pull off a result, it could be the turning point of the season and Silva will have to view it as that.
