Would there have been any refereeing appointments that Everton fans would have been happy with? No, too many poor refereesYes, we just get bad ones |
The Toffees’ most recent infamous run in with officials was in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, when Andre Gomes suffered his horror injury, due to the usage of VAR (as per The Guardian).
With supporters seemingly unhappy with all four of the referee appointments, they continued to air their dissatisfaction with the men set to be in charge.

What do we think?
Such is Everton fans’ vendetta against any and every referee, there really are no appointments for those games that the Goodison Park faithful would have been happy with.
Although that probably says more about the standard of officiating in the league than it does about Everton fans.
