Will Anthony Gordon make it as a regular first teamer in the near future? No, not quite good enoughYes, destined for big things |
The 18-year-old attacker has only once previously featured for the Merseyside club, in an away Europa League tie against Apollon Limassol in 2017 as a late substitute for Kevin Mirallas (per Liverpool Echo).
Since then he has found first-team minutes incredibly difficult to come by, but supporters were delighted for the youngster following his first senior foray onto the Goodison Park pitch.
Well done Anthony but personally I think you should have made your debut sooner than tonight

What do we think?
It seems as though Anthony Gordon’s home debut was one of the most hotly anticipated events in the blue half of Merseyside for a long while, aside from the impending arrival of Carlo Ancelotti (per Sky Sports).
While his short period on the pitch against the Foxes is not long enough to get a good measure of the player, hopefully, there will be a lot more to come for Gordon in the future.
