Everton fans have buzzed over the first press conference that has been given by Duncan Ferguson ahead of the clash with Chelsea on Saturday.
The Toffees’ caretaker manager spoke to the press for the first time in his new role on Friday afternoon ahead of the visit from Frank Lampard’s Blues a day later (via Everton).
With the 47-year-old hitting the key features around the passion and pride of managing the Goodison Park club, supporters were delighted with what he had to say.

The former Scottish forward played for the Toffees for ten years between 1995 and 2006, with two years in the North East, with Newcastle United, dividing two spells (per Transfermarkt).
In 253 games for Everton, Ferguson bagged a steady 65 goals, plus one assist, while situated at Goodison Park (per Transfermarkt), before returning to the club as a coach in 2014 (per BBC).
