Some Nottingham Forest fans are fuming about the latest ticket update that the club has provided for their Boxing Day clash against Championship rivals Hull City.

The Reds have issued an update about a price rise in the tickets for the away game. Tickets are set to go on sale from the 9th of December onwards, with £33 the price for the adult fans. £24 is the price fixed for the fans who are aged over 65. The price for young adults stands at £18.

But some Forest fans are unhappy and they believe that there has been a rise in costs. They took to social media to express their dissatisfaction.

Nottingham Forest fans: Are you happy with the pricing for the Hull game?

That's too much!

That's too much!

I'm up for that!

I'm up for that!

Sabri Lamouchi’s men don’t have as many concerns as the fans. They are being seen as potential promotion candidates and find themselves at fourth in the table,

But they have won three out of their last five games, losing one. That loss came in their previous clash against Cardiff City. Their previous meeting against Hull came back in October when the Reds took a 2-1 loss when the away side was down to ten-men.

So far this campaign, they have scored 26 times in the season. That is 10 less than league leaders West Bromwich Albion. But defensively, Lamouchi’s men are the third-best defensive side in the league having let in only 16 goals. That is more than Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United and Brentford.

What do we think?

Forest fans have every reason to be annoyed. But the Hull game will be a huge one. It will be a case of seeking revenge against a side that could yet earn promotion if they win their next few games. And Forest will need the support of all their fans in what will be a big game.
