West Bromwich Albion fans have been sharing their thoughts on Twitter after the club posted a video of the final moment of James Morrison’s career.
The 33-year-old announced his retirement earlier this week after being released by the club at the end of last season and the club has been paying tribute to the former Scottish international, who spent 12 fantastic years at the club.
He will now be joining the club’s coaching setup but that hasn’t stopped fans from sharing their appreciation for his final moment in a Baggies shirt – a penalty in the shoutout against Aston Villa in the Championship play-offs, which Albion ended up losing.
That’s actually really sad ngl

What do we think?
At the time, as a fan mentioned, nobody thought this would be Morrison’s last moment in a West Brom shirt. 33-years-old should not be an age for a footballer to retire, so it was difficult to read the news of Morrison’s announcement earlier this week. That said, the fact that he’s joining the club’s coaching setup indicates Albion’s willingness so show faith in their club’s legends, something that the Scotsman earned a long time ago in the eyes of many Baggies fans.
