Benji Kimpioka spared Sunderland fans maximum embarrassment after clawing back a goal in the 90th minute for his side. The Black Cats were trailing until the nineteen-year-old scored his goal (BBC).

The 19-year-old took to Twitter to celebrate his contribution. The tweet was met with a positive reaction from fans who encouraged the striker to continue his form, as they think he could make a real difference to the Sunderland side.

Many would like to see him feature on Tuesday against Burton Albion. They think his pace would bring an added dimension to the Sunderland lineup. Indeed, whilst some call for him to start, there are others think he would be well-suited as an impact substitute. He scored his goal just eight minutes after being introduced against Coventry. Regardless, fans appear to be wanting the teenager to be featured by Phil Parkinson in any capacity.

What do we think?

It has been no secret that Sunderland have lacked a consistent goal scorer this season as the Black Cats have only managed to bag 23 goals in their 16 League One outings so far (WhoScored.com). Perhaps it is time for Parkinson to switch things up and put his trust in Kimpioka? By all means, he has already given the Stadium of Light faithful more than a glimpse regarding what he can offer.
