With many players such as Jordan Jones returning to full fitness at Rangers football club, Steven Gerrard’s team will only be getting stronger (Twitter). The return of these players will provide the English manager with a chance to figure out his strongest starting XI.
But in anticipation of a fully fit squad, some fans are beginning to speculate as to what that strongest squad might be. Rangers fan account WATR.com suggested that the starting front six should include Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, Jordan Jones, Joe Aribo, Ryan Jack and Steven Davis.
For the most part, supporters agreed with these choices. That is except for Aribo. They would much rather see Glen Kamara start in the midfield three instead.
Kamara instead of Aribo

Kamara has to be in there, does the job no one likes and is class at it

I wouldn’t have Aribo in there, Kamara or Arfield

Kamara 100% arfield has been shocking this season

One fan agreed that Kamara should start, but admitted that Aribo has an incredible potential to run games from the midfield. But for this supporter, he doesn’t do it on a consistent enough basis. Others have high hopes for him in the latter stages of the season though.
Kamara before Aribo right now. Aribo needs to step it up, looks like he is in 2nd gear every game. He gets compared to Yaya and Viera but they dominated full games..Aribo has still to do that. What a player he will be if he steps it up.

No aribo for me just now not really pulling his weight yet, in and out games. Looking for him to have a good 2nd half of the season tho after his summer move

What do we think?
While Kamara, who is valued at £450k (as per Transfermarkt), has won over most fans as the go-to third choice, Aribo is clearly knocking on the door for his spot. At the end of the day, it will be Gerrard’s choice. But the manager is lucky to have such a difficult decision to make.
