Before the international break began, Rangers extended their winning run of form with a comfortable win against Livingston in the Scottish Premiership. Goals from Joe Aribo and Alfredo Morelos were enough to sink the midtable side.
And while the credit for the goals will go to Aribo and Morelos, Borna Barisic’s pass to assist the Colombian’s goal did not go unnoticed by these fans. The pass was Barisic’s eighth assist of the season and third in the Scottish Premiership (transfermarkt.co.uk).
It was an eye of the needle pass that found Morelos down the left side of the field. Fans admitted that the pass has become the standard for Barisic and that they expect contributions like this every game now.
Trademark Borna pass. Does it every game.

Expect that now.

One fan pointed out that the pass was almost identical to one made by Barisic earlier in the season against Valencia. That pass led to a goal as well, although it won’t be counted as an assist for Barisic.

Others called the 27-year-old a baller, while another couldn’t believe that just a few months ago fans wanted him out.

To think people wanted rid of him a few months ago

But this supporter was quick to point out that the finish from Morelos was just as good as the pass.
Wasn’t a bad finish either!!

What do we think?
It won’t just be fans who have higher expectations than ever for Barisic. Boss Steven Gerrard will be expecting the Croatian to pull passes like this out of his locker on a regular basis now. If he can, it will surely only improve Rangers’ bid for a 55th league title.
