While Rangers ended up winning the game 3-1, the overall match against Hamilton didn’t live up to the expectations Rangers set before the international break. Despite this, a goal from Ryan Jack and a brace from Ryan Kent pulled the Gers over the finish line with all three points.
But while certain players performed exceptionally well, a few were highlighted by fans for their poor showings. One of those players was Canada’s Scott Arfield. One fan thinks the player needs a confidence boost, while another thinks he is finished.
His confidence is shot

Arfield hasn’t kicked a ball all season. Ridiculous I know but he genuinely looks finished.

Arfield totally anonymous again ?

What do you think? Has Arfield got more in him or is he finished at Rangers?
Is Scott Arfield finished at Rangers?
Yes
No
Another fan believes positioning is the issue, as the midfielder naturally likes to drift centrally. The midfielder, who is valued at £2.25 million (Transfermarkt), has played as a right-winger for a majority of his time this season under Steven Gerrard (WhoScored.com). Others want him to start performing his magic again.
He’s a passanger out on the right hand side and because he naturally drifts inside he congests the space

When does Scott Arfield starting playing magic again?!

What do we think?
When Jordan Jones is back fit it could provide Gerrard with an opportunity to bring the Canadian back into a central position. Regardless of where he plays though, Rangers fans want more. He will need to be at his best if the Gers want to win their 55th league title.
