With the 3-1 scoreline favouring Rangers, Steven Gerrard’s team didn’t make easy work of their match against Hamilton on the weekend. Ryan Jack opened the scoring in the first seven minutes before Hamilton equalised a few minutes later. The game was saved by a Ryan Kent double and the Gers walked away with all three points.
The supporters will be wary of the performance and relieved to come away from the match with full points. With them going neck-and-neck with Celtic in the league, any dropped points will give their rivals the edge (Sky Sports). But these fans are unconcerned. They aren’t bothered by the performance. As long as they get the win, that’s all that matters.
Hats off to Hamilton, they played very well, 2 bits of clinical finishing made the difference. 3 important points, despite a poor performance, improvement is needed in next 2 games.

3 points all that matters 100%

Others blame the international break for the performance. Another thinks an ability to overcome a poor performance to find three points is a tell-tale sign of a team capable of winning championships.
Take the three points but that’s the third time after international break we haven’t been at it….arfield’s non existence must keep greg stewart up at night!

Played ugly but won
Defence were still on international break

Winning ugly games like that is what wins you league championships.

Some fans are already turning their heads towards a midweek fixture against Feyenoord. A point against the Dutch team would guarantee the Glaswegian team’s progression in the tournament, however, these fans admit that they will need to put in a better performance.
we could play the worst unattractive football from now till end of the season…but if we end up on the top of the table who cares..1 point from the game on thursday and were playing European football in February

Have to agree with you there, got out of jail at the back tho, looking forward to Thursday.

What do we think?
While he will have wanted a better performance, Gerrard will be happy to see that his team are capable of pulling wins out of the bag when they aren’t at their best. He too will be turning his sights towards a tricky midweek match where he hopes to lead his team towards the knockout round of the UEFA Europa League.
