Alfredo Morelos was back on the score sheet against Ross County as Rangers clawed back their goal differential with Celtic to just one. Morelos has been a vital part of Rangers’ bid for a 55th league title, scoring his seventh and eighth goals of the campaign in the match (BBC).
But what happened after the Colombian scored his second goal was what meant the most to these Rangers fans. The 23-year-old marched over to the crowd and pointed at the crest on his shirt before pointing both fingers at the floor. While it’s uncertain what the exact meaning of the message was, many supporters are taking it as a commitment to the team amongst transfer speculation.
We can see the celebration in this tweet below.

As stated, fans assume this means the Colombian is staying until, at least, the end of the season.

What do we think?
Whether the striker stays or not, the gesture shows his love for the club. Of course, Morelos has become a hero for those at Ibrox as he is clinical finishing has helped Rangers compete at the top of the Scottish Premiership once again, having scored 63 goals in 112 appearances for the Light Blues. Indeed, speculation has been rife in regards to his future, with a number of Premier League clubs said to be interested in the 23-year-old, although that has become a norm and something that is to be expected. Should the Gers keep a hold of him, he could help them achieve their 55th league title.
