While Ryan Jack opened the scoring versus Hamilton, it was Ryan Kent who scored the winning goals in the 3-1 victory. Kent will surely be happy with his contribution to the win with two goals, regardless of their quality. But his first goal was a thing of beauty. After beating Hamilton defender Johnny Hunt with some beautiful footwork, Kent smashed the ball into the top left corner of the net past goalkeeper Luke Southwood.

Rangers Twitter posted a video of the beautiful footage so fans could watch the goal over and over again. Fans responded, gushing over how nice the strike was. The stunner was proclaimed goal of the year by one fan.

Another fan praised Jack and Kent for their willingness to shoot from distance. The supporter suggested this kind of approach was necessary given Hamilton’s deep and compact defending. Another fan claimed this was a perfect example of Rangers’ ability to do their talking on the pitch. They warn other teams to beware.

What do we think?

Kent’s strike was awesome. Hopefully, the winger can continue to produce moments of magic like this for the rest of the season. For Rangers fans, however, they will just be happy if the players continue to do their talking on the field.
