What a season it has been for Alfredo Morelos at Rangers. The Colombian has scored 22 goals for his club in all competitions. Each goal has been vital in the clubs bid to either challenge for the league or progress in European and domestic cup competitions (transfermarkt.co.uk).
Morelos has nine goals in 12 league appearances, eight out of eight in Europa League qualification, three out of four in the Europa League itself and two out of two in the Scottish League Cup (transfermarkt.co.uk). Rangers fan account WAPT.com tweeted out to fans asking them to tell them what their favourite goal from the 22 was.
A few fans were undecided, claiming that all the goals were special. They suggested it was like picking a favourite from your own children. One clever fan suggested that Morelos’ next goal will be the best one.
Too hard a question pal. Have you got an easier question?

He’s not scored one I’ve disapproved of yet.

Others were clearly more enthusiastic about Morelos’ exploits in European competitions. Specifically, goals versus Legia Warsaw and Porto were fan favourites.
The winner vs legia warsaw or the one vs porto.

What do we think?
As the first group of fans suggested, each goal has been vital to Rangers’ trophy challenges this season. Morelos will likely be focused on scoring his first goal for Colombia during the international break. With the run of form he is on, it wouldn’t be a real shock if he did. But as soon as he lands back in Glasgow, the forward will be laser-focused for his next game under Steven Gerrard.
