Rangers Football Club earned a precious away point against Feyenoord midweek as Steven Gerrard’s side tied the Dutch club 2-2. Two goals from Alfredo Morelos brought the visitors ahead before the Glaswegian’s conceded in the 68th minutes.
However, there are many Rangers fans who will feel aggrieved that they were not awarded a penalty after Leroy Fer challenged Morelos in the box. To many fans, this was a clear penalty.
Should have been a pen

Do you think Leroy Fer's challenge on Morelos was a penalty?
Yes
No
The supporters point their finger at the referee, claiming that he has a great reputation of being one of the best in Europe. His decision making against the Gers changed their opinion of him though.
Stone wall penalty on Morelos, refs supposed to be one of the best in Europe didn’t look like it

Ref was diabolical

What do we think?
After the game, both Steven Gerrard and Allan McGregor were baffled at the call. Gerrard called for an explanation from UEFA regarding the decision, while McGregor insisted that Fer was piggybacking Morelos. Who knows what would have happened if the penalty was given. At the end of the day, nothing changes for Gerrard’s team. With their fate in their hands, they must go to Young Boys and win.
