Despite making life difficult for themselves in the Netherlands, Rangers managed to walk away from their match against Feyenoord with a crucial away point in the UEFA Europa League. Two stunning headers from Alfredo Morelos pushed the home team, however, Dick Advocaat’s side pulled back the game to equalise.
Rangers fans will never get tired of praising Morelos. But there were other members of the team deserving of praise in this match as well. One of those players was Allan McGregor, the no-nonsense Scottish shot-stopper.
McGregor made a couple of big saves during the game, despite being beaten twice, which led to fans being quick to share their praise.
What a man Allan McGregor is.

Allan McGregor some cracking saves in that first half to keep it at 1-0. Big second half needed.

Is Allan McGregor replaceable at Rangers?
No
Yes
One fan suggested that McGregor was the only Rangers player deserving of passing marks in an overall poor first half. Another suggests the shot-stopper is deserving of a statue outside Ibrox, assuming he assists the team in winning the league.
Don’t think we can just slag Ojo for that first half!! None of the players get pass marks apart from Allan McGregor.

If we win the league this season then Allan McGregor and The Buffalo will both need a massive 270ft statue of themselves built outside Ibrox as they’ll be the only reason we win the league

What do we think?
McGregor is a great goalkeeper and he showed his worth against Feyenoord mid-week. Should Steven Gerrard’s side advance deep into European competition this season, the 37-year-old Scotsman will be an invaluable asset to the team.
