Liverpool fans on Twitter have been expressing their wishes to see Marko Grujic given a chance in the first-team next season.
These calls came after Liverpool fan Twitter account @TheKopiteOFF shared a post on their page asking their followers if they think Grujic will be given a chance to be a part of Jurgen Klopp’s squad next season.
This post then led to many replies from Liverpool fans wanting to see Grujic in the squad.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans hoping Grujic will be in the squad next year:
Yes, Klopp rates him highly and hope he can make an impact next season

Grujic has made 14 appearances for the Reds’ first-team, but hasn’t featured since the 2nd of December against Brighton and Hove Albion back in 2017.
The 23-year-old central-midfielder is currently spending his season on loan at Bundesliga side Hertha BSC. So far this season, the Serbian has made 12 appearances for Bertha, scoring two goals and grabbing one assist along the way (per Transfermarkt).
However, despite this record so far this season, some Liverpool fans think Grujic should be a part of Klopp’s main squad for next year.
If he don’t have any fitness issues I hope he comes back and get the chance to prove himself at #LFC

In a world where we potentially lose Lallana, Milner and Shaqiri this summer, then absolutely he will be back and in the squad

Hopefully

What do we think?
Without having an amazing stats record this season, Grujic, who is currently valued at £18 million, according to Transfermarkt, must be doing something right to have these Liverpool pleading for him to be given a chance in their squad for next year.
If Grujic does stay at Anfield next year then he will have a lot of competition for a place in Klopp’s midfield three. He will have to earn a place ahead of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner, Adam Lallana and Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain, which won’t be an easy task.
