Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to show their love for an impressive touch of the ball Trent Alexander-Arnold made during the 3-1 win over Manchester City.
This wave of appreciation came after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post that contained a clip of the touch Alexander-Arnold made during the match on Sunday, labelling it as “superb”.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who shared their same feelings towards the touch from the full-back.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans drooling over the touch from Alexander-Arnold:

This touch involved Trent controlling the ball in mid-air with his right foot, before making a run with the ball into City’s half of the pitch. Liverpool then ended the game as 3-1 winners, opening a nine-point gap as Premier League leaders between them and City.
One big positive Liverpool fans took from the victory was Alexander-Arnold’s performance and wonderful acrobatic touch.

What do we think?
This acrobatic touch and control from the Englishman, who is now valued at £72 million according to TransferMarkt, was impressive.
Although, one talking point was the handball in the first-half at Anfield. The penalty was not given, which resulted in City boss Pep Guardiola sarcastically thanking the match officials after the game. It’s a shame this decision was the main talking point of the match instead of the fantastic performance the full-back put in for his side.
