Some Liverpool fans have been expressing their disappointments on Twitter over the poor run of form Mohamed Salah is on.
This flurry of criticism has come after Liverpool fan account @Kloppholic tweeted how they missed seeing Salah “putting them away for fun” in reference to his current goal-scoring drought.
This tweet then led to a number of Liverpool fans sharing the same sentiment.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans unhappy with Salah:
Feels like the Mane fight was a turning point for Salah. Hasn’t been the same since.

He’s completely lost his composure in the final third.

Poor again tonight

The Egyptian, who is currently valued at £135 million, according to Transfermarkt, scored his last goal for Liverpool in their 2-1 win over Tottenham last month (per Transfermarkt). But as well as the lack of goals, some Liverpool fans were not pleased with his overall performance in their last match against Genk on Tuesday.
Salh is not the same and he will never be.Its time we accept it he isn’t performing anymore even aganist genk.I feel really bad but thats the truth mane is our best player and has been for a while.Selling salah right now and buying sancho would be the best option

So do I. He lost his touch

It’s getting really annoying.

I’d sell Salah. He’s been inactive for a while. Poor passes. Poor finishing. And constantly passing to areas he knows his team mates can’t get too. Use the money from his sale to buy Mbappè

What do we think?
Despite not scoring a goal in his previous two appearances for Liverpool, Salah is still very much a pivotal character in Liverpool’s attack. In 16 appearances in all competitions so far this season, Salah has scored eight goals and assisted five (per Transfermarkt). But compared to fellow winger Sadio Mane, according to WhoScored, Mane’s average match rating so far this season is 7.45, whereas Salah’s is 7.27.
Coming up next for Liverpool is a top-of-the-table showdown with Premier League champions Manchester City, which is the best opportunity for Salah to get back to his best form.
