Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to praise the signing of Andy Robertson.
This comes after Liverpool fans account @Kloppholic shared a post on their official page claiming the signing of Robertson as “one of the best signings” the club has ever made.
This post then gathered many replies from Liverpool who shared similar sentiments on the Scottish full-back.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans showing their love for Robertson:
Scottish lad from humble beginnings. Tough as they come. Worth a fortune now but shouldn’t ever be sold.

The 25-year-old, who is currently valued at £54 million, according to Transfermarkt, signed for the Merseyside club in 2017 from Hull City for a fee of £8.1 million (per Transfermarkt). Since then he has gone on to make 98 appearances for the club, producing 23 assists up until this point as a crucial player in Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Mind you-Milner and Matip for free wasn’t bad either. But you’re right, Robbo for 8 and he’s honestly now not for sale at any amount of money.

What do we think?
There’s no doubt that Robertson has been a fantastic signing for Liverpool. A fee of £8 million now feels like a huge bargain. Of course, some of the praise needs to be diverted to Jurgen Klopp for developing the Scotsman into a world beater at Anfield, and he’s still yet to hit his peak years at the age of 25.
If the full-back stays at the club for a long time, he will surely be on his way to get the status of club legend.
