LUFCDATA’s post was originally about Helder Costa’s performance, however many of the Leeds United fans were quick to point out how well Ezgjan Alioski played.
Despite playing a key part in the setup of the first goal, Alioski only received a WhoScored rating of 6.6/10 which is still decent considering he only played 24 minutes. Despite the low rating, fans still believed their Macedonian full-back deserved some praise.
No player created more chances than Helda Costa on the pitch tonight (3). He played only 55 minutes and registered the assist for the match winner.
Made the real difference for us this evening.

Marcelo Bielsa’s substitution seems to have paid off, which some of the fans also picked up on.
Actually @ezgjanalioski made the difference. Huge energy and pushing us forward!

Was Alioski the difference between winning and losing?
Yes
No
What Do We Think?
Alioski definitely made an impact when he came onto the pitch. Despite only having 17 touches of the ball, he played his part in the only goal of the game that gave Leeds a vital three points. We believe his WhoScored rating of just 6.6/10 is a bit harsh, but at the end of the day, keeping a clean sheet and getting the win is all that matters. If anything, though, his brief cameo for Bielsa on Tuesday night re-inforced just how important he could be to the Whites’ efforts in pushing for Premier League football.
