An image appearing to be have been taken by Luke Ayling’s partner seems to show the 28-year-old ill in bed, which has left Leeds United fans reacting on Twitter.
This image left some fans feeling disappointed with the defender, however, perhaps even more nerve-racking news for Ayling, is the fact that others believe he won’t be missed, with some of them suggesting that Stuart Dallas will be able to do a better job should the 28-year-old miss the match against Blackburn on Saturday.
So far this season, the ‘Ayling Flop’ creator has played a total of 466 minutes in the Championship while averaging a WhoScored rating of 6.93/10 and has proven to be a key member of Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team when fit.
Ayling might be missing from this weekends game by the looks of it #LUFC pic.twitter.com/P7gznLNljK

These fans were unimpressed with the image, with many saying how they still have to work long shifts while ill, so you would think for a person being paid thousands of pounds a week, you could manage to find a way to get out of bed and play.
He just looks hungover lol

What Do We Think?
Many Leeds fans have to get up and go to work with a lot worse than the flu, so you can see why this would be extremely annoying to see from someone who is in a very privileged position.
Obviously, Ayling is an extremely talented footballer, but perhaps this image shouldn’t have been shared with the world, as it was always unlikely to gain much sympathy.
