Leeds United tweeted out that Ben White and Patrick Bamford were both named in the EFL Championship Team of the Week, but some fans believe that a couple more Leeds players should have been included.
Kalvin Phillips and Jack Harrison were two of the players mentioned by the Leeds fans. Both men played against Blackburn on Saturday, Harrison’s WhoScored rating was 7.1/10, whereas Phillips had an even more impressive 7.3/10. Despite being included, Ben White only managed a rating of 6.8/10.
The 23-year-old defensive-midfielder has won three man of the match awards across 16 Championship matches, whilst Harrison has also won two in the same amount of matches. The pair also have similar WhoScored average ratings in the Championship this season, with the winger averaging 7/10 and Phillips achieving an even better average of 7.41/10.

What Do We Think?
There’s no doubt that all four of the players mentioned could, or maybe should, have been included, but we would be surprised if this was something they cared about too much. What’s more important than them being awarded for their form is the players maintaining it, as the Championship is a really tough league and needs a nearly flawless season to gain promotion from it.
