Some Ryan Christie have been left dazzled by the performance of Ryan Christie in the recent Europa League win over Rennes.
Neil Lennon’s men wrote the history books with a convincing win over the visitors from France. The 3-1 win meant that it is the first time in history that Celtic will finish their European group at the top of the group.
Lewis Morgan, who started the game, got a goal. Young Mikey Johnston also grabbed a goal on his return from injury. Between their goals, it was Christie who had doubled the Hoops’ advantage (BBC).
Is Christie the best midfielder in Scotland?
No doubt about it!
There's many better!
And Celtic fans are hailing the midfielder’s performance. And it isn’t the first time he’s impressed them.
Ryan Christie is the best midfielder at Celtic and the best midfield in the league.

Would love a few more Celtic fans to give @10LewisMorgan more of a chance. Excellent performance tonight, brilliant goal and spurred the team on. Still a young lad with a load of potential. Christie was written off a few seasons ago, look at him now. HH

#Celtic simply cruised to that 4th straight Europa Lge win & have won the group with a game to spare. The total of 13 points is a club Euro record.
Fantastic feat from Neil Lennon & the Bhoys.A far cry from Rodgers record.
Special mentions for Ntcham & Christie. Both superb.— Brian McNally (@McNallyMirror) November 28, 2019
A few talking points from the game :
1) Lewis Morgan was amazing, put in some shift
2) Ryan Christie is the best midfielder in Scotland.
3) Michael Johnson is our best young player (alongside Frimpong)
4) Even with a rotated team, Celtic are unstoppable.
Thank you and good night.— . (@BC67__) November 28, 2019

Ryan Christie is going to different levels now, his quality and energy are top class. Keep Jurgen Klopp away from Celtic park because he is bang on his type of player

Christie joined Celtic in the summer of 2015 from Inverness for an initial £500,000 and has gone on leaps and bounds since then for the club. Last night’s goal against the French visitors was his 13th goal of the season.
So far this season, he has played 26 times in all competitions for the Hoops. During this time, he has found the back of the net 13 times and has racked up a tally of nine goals as well. This is already an improvement from the last campaign when he contributed to a total of 20 goals in just 38 appearances in all competitions.
Since joining, the midfielder has played 77 times in all competitions for the Hoops. He has come up with 26 goals during this time, racking up a tally of 19 assists.
What do we think?
It is baffling to think that Christie is still 24 because his contributions show that his performances are well beyond someone of his age. He has been one of the club’s most productive players and despite having played considerably less so far, he has already crossed last season’s tally.
It won’t be a surprise if big clubs come calling for him soon.
