Celtic fans on Twitter are showing their appreciation to Christopher Jullien after the player poked fun at himself from Wednesday’s 2-0 win over St Mirren at Celtic Park.
The 26-year-old missed three great chances in the midweek win that maintained the Bhoys’ position at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
But the Frenchman took his self-deprecating humour to social media, lamenting the chances he missed and blaming ‘the nets’ for his own inaccuracies.
Fans on Twitter were quick to see the funny side of the centre-backs misfortunes.
Well the nets are fine, u win headers all the time big man Lazio header was your first wasn’t over the bar, I think if u practice that you may get 10 goals this season ?

You are getting the chances and that’s what makes you dangerous all the time. The goals will come and the rest will be history.??

What do we think?
Chris Jullien found the winning header against Lazio last week, so Celtic fans will probably ignore the misfiring Frenchman on this occasion. What’s important to remember is that the centre-back will need to focus on his defensive duties in keeping clean sheets and therefore any goals scored are a bonus, although they may not be too much of a problem as he has helped the Hoops to concede just 12 goals in his 17 appearances across all competitions.
